The Now & Leave
after Jeff Tatay
An odd impression of beauty about
to touch you where it hurts most
and then the fade
-even more vague-
an rustic image remembered as if
futures can be recalled,
but who is that improbable person?
(a small silhouette in smoke)
911 is disconnected.
